Money and your honey

A lot of us have been raised to think that talking about money is crass, but with the way things have been going for everyone financially, you can't really help but talk about it, whether you're lamenting the sluggish influx of cash or your happiness that you're still earning some. You also shouldn't shy away from talking about finances with your partner before moving in together or get married. Suzanne Hadden of BFG Financial put it best: "If you can't be frank and upfront together about your assets and liabilities, then what are you doing getting married or moving in?"

You might want to focus on other issues with your honey, but you can't deny that money's pretty darn important too. Who's going to pay the bills? What's your investment strategy? How will you divide your assets? As they say, you can't live on love alone, so you have to be smart about your cashflow.
